Our Name

The name Hearth was chosen by virtue of being the foundational element of a home. Families and friends have gathered around the hearth for many millennia, and its warmth and community personify a high improvement in the quality of life for humanity.

Our Mission

Our mission is to explore the activities and resources that have made Western North Carolina a quality-of-life destination for over a century; encouraging our readers to participate in cultivating a thriving community.
